The Gardens at St. Elizabeth, an Independent and Assisted Senior Living Community located in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver, is seeking an individual enthusiastic about taking great care of seniors, to join our team!
Candidates will have a minimum of 1-3 years geriatric care, long-term care, rehabilitative or equivalent experience. Should also possess sound assessment skills and experience in health education. PCC experience preferred.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1: Acts as the initial liaison between Assisted Living/Supervised Living and its residents, family members, staff and vendors.
2: Participates in recruitment, selection and development of staff, performance appraisals, counseling and disciplinary measures.
3: Accountable for operational budget so as to enhance the effective and efficient utilization of personnel, supplies and equipment.
4: Responsible for managing units in compliance with facility policy and procedures, State Department of Health regulations and requirements for Personal Care Boarding Homes.
5: Implements a Quality Improvement Plan for Assisted and Supervised Living that follows established guidelines.
6: Coordinates Assisted Living Resident Council and provides follow-up to the issues raised.
