Namaste is currently seeking one full-time activities assistant to join our team.


Assists the Activity Director in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Activity Department. Demonstrates workplace effectiveness to assure communication of CHI Living Communities’ mission and core values.


  • Assists with the daily maintenance of the department to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Orders and maintains proper supplies for planned activities.
  • Completes all assessments and programming documentation within specific time-frames, as directed by the Activities Supervisor.
  • Assists with transportation for resident outings, as directed.
  • Maintains a professional manner when dealing with residents, families and other staff.
  • Maintains and updates monthly calendars. Monitors daily activities and assists with implementing programs to meet the residents' individual care plan needs.
  • Follows OSHA guidelines and facility safety programs to ensure a safe environment.
  • Responsible for the proper care of all property, equipment, supplies and financial assets involved in the performance of the job.
  • Additional duties may be outlined by facility. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.


Full-time (30 hours per week, hours range from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in a patient, recreational or activities program preferred.
