Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN/RN:

  • Maintains effective communication with residents, families, staff, and physicians.
  • Documents in accordance with nursing policies and procedures.
  • Responds to resident needs with appropriate interventions with the licensure.
  • Performs activities related to medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Shifts Available: 1st Shift FT/7am-7pm, 2nd Shift FT/PT Split Shifts Available, 3rd Shift FT/PT

Department: Skilled Nursing Certified Nurse Assistant 

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following functions:

  • Promotes the values and practices of Person-Centered Care throughout daily life in the household.
  • Encourages and assists all residents in achieving spiritual well-being and an optimum quality of life.
  •  Performs all essential responsibilities of a STNA
  • Attends to all resident personal care needs, including but not limited to,grooming, hygiene, dining and nutrition, mobility, toileting, psychosocial and safety needs. Supports residents in self-care and provides care as necessary for those unable to care for their own needs. Responds to residents’ requests, including call lights, in a timely manner.
  • Regularly checks and provides appropriate physical care for all residents; observes all typical /normal needs of residents as well as any unusual changes.
  • Reports immediately any changes in physical or mental functioning or special needs to charge nurse.
  • Reports verbal/non-verbal complaints of pain to charge nurse immediately
  • Complies with all computerized medical records documentation and implementation, including updating daily care and resident-related information as required by federal and state regulations.
  • Provides ROM exercises as directed.
  • Assists and encourages residents to participate in activities both inside and outside the household.
  • Provides light housekeeping, activities, and dietary duties as necessary.

Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

Madonna Manor

The Certified Medication Aide administers oral and topical medication, including controlled substances, to residents as prescribed by their attending physicians under the direction of a registered or licensed nurse. This position also requires assisting residents with activities of daily living and other nursing assistant duties to ensure quality care.

Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Assists licensed staff in administering non-parental medication, including controlled substances.
  2. Administers treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with facility policies.
  3. Functions as a nursing assistant when instructed to do so by the Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager.
  4. Completes administrative work as required.
  5. Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use.
  6. Reports observations to licensed personnel.
  7. Maintains resident care supplies, equipment, and environment.
  8. Maintains general knowledge of the effects and side effects of drugs commonly used and those they are permitted to administer and principles, procedures and practices regarding drug administration.
  9. Signs for all oral and topical medications she/he has administered.
  10. Assists with the provision of the care to residents (within qualifications) and participates
    in social and activity programs in order to help meet the physical, mental, social, and
    spiritual needs of the residents to promote a happy, safe, and fulfilling environment.
  11. Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities,
    the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
    a. Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
    b. Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
    c. Completes yearly online education program by deadline.
    d. Attends employee meetings on a regular basis.

In addition to the essential job specific duties listed above, the Certified Medication Aide shall be
required to perform all duties (essential and non-essential) in a manner consistent with the
mission statement and core values (reverence, integrity, compassion, excellence) of CHI Living
Communities and will be evaluated on such basis. Furthermore, every employee must abide by
all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.

CHI Living Communities has the right to change the job specific duties and specifications
required for the position of Certified Medication Aide from time to time without prior notice.

Server

Madonna Manor

Madonna Manor is currently seeking a Server to join our team!

  • Takes customer orders, enters them in the computer, and sends them to the kitchen. 

  • Retrieves the completed orders from the kitchen and serves them to residents

  • Checks to ensure residents have everything they need and the order is to their liking.

  • Assists with light food preparation.

  • Polishes and rolls silverware.

  • Assist with light food preparation, as needed.

  • Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.

  • Attends all mandatory in-service programs.

  • Adheres to facility policies and procedures.

  • Completes yearly online education program by deadline.

  • Attends employee meetings on a regular basis.

 

This position is full time: 8am-4pm or 11am-7pm (every other weekend, needed)
