CHI Living Communities Welcomes New CEO

CHI Living Communities is pleased to announce Aaron D. Webb, Esq., as our new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 15. Succeeding former CEO Rick Ryan who retired May 1, Aaron has more than 25 years of diverse experience, including the last 15 in senior health care services.

“I’m very grateful to become part of CHI Living Communities because I’m passionate about ensuring seniors receive the outstanding care and respect they deserve,” states Aaron.

“As the youngest of six children, I cared for both of my parents before they passed,” he adds. “My standard for assessing any senior living community is whether it can offer the level of comfort, cleanliness and high-quality care that I would have expected for my own mom or dad.”

Aaron previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Morning Pointe Senior Living—comprised of 31 locations and 1,600 employees across Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee, where he collaborated with leaders to develop, implement and sustain strategic business initiatives in assisted living and memory care.

Prior to joining Morning Pointe, Aaron worked for more than 10 years with Life Care Centers of America, Inc. in several executive positions. He began his career as an investment professional at Fidelity Investments, consulting with Fortune 500 companies.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from Denison University, Aaron received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee, focusing on business operations. Additionally, in 2019 he studied cross-sector business collaboration at Harvard School of Business.

“CHI Living campuses offer such exceptional care because our employees bring the same type of passion and energy to work that I do,” he says. “This is especially praiseworthy during the pandemic, when it takes tremendous effort on all levels of the organization to keep residents safe and feeling connected.

“The opportunity to serve seniors is more than just a job – it’s a sacred calling,” notes Aaron.

CHI Living Communities’ new CEO is equally committed to building strong communities through robust partnerships and volunteerism. Aaron currently serves on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations, including CHI Memorial Hospital, Tennessee Aquarium, The Lyndhurst Foundation, and the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.

“The future of CHI Living Communities is very bright,” says Aaron. “I’m excited to work with an organization and team fully committed to carrying out our healing ministry for each of our residents.”
